Can you think of reasons why it might be helpful to know:


Which Harneys lawyers previously practiced with a particular law firm?
Where a contact worked previous to his or her current job?
Which contacts previously worked for a specific client company or bank?


The alumni module is used to keep track of information about where Harneys staff and our contacts previously worked.


Reading the alumni sub-panel


The alumni sub-panel appears on both contact and organisation pages.




On a contact page it will display the contact's previous employer(s). In the example below, the alumni module is displaying that Mr Ron Potter left his job as Audit Senior at Deloitte in 2013.






On an organisation page the alumni sub-panel provides a list of former employees. The image below is from the alumni panel on Deloitte. As you can see, the alumni module is also used to record firms and companies where Harneys lawyers and other staff previously worked.





CRM Admins are primarily responsible for creating alumni records. See Creating Alumni Records for more information.
